About The Artist:

Minton started its Secessionist line in 1895, thanks to the artistic director Leon Victor Solon, who was hired to improve the factory's design. Solon left Mintons in 1905 and was replaced by designer Jon Wadsworth who worked there from 1906 to 1912, and tended to favor stronger colors. The numbers on the bottom of these vases are decoration or ornament numbers.
