About The Artist:

Takashi Murakami is a prolific Japanese artist working in the innovative "Superflat" style, which employs highly refined classical Japanese painting techniques to depict a super-charged mix of Pop, animé and otaku contained within a flattened representational picture-plane. The delightful Happy Flower design is an internationally cherished invention. Murakami's design has its own Facebook page, "because its innocent look and its big smile make us happy."
