Item Description:

Known as the “Voice of Music,” this poster features the unauthorized use of another company’s logo by Mouse and Kelley. The central image is the RCA Victor dog listening to the old Victrola record player. The only thing missing is the RCA victor slogan: “His Master’s Voice!” The lettering on the poster was drawn in such a manner that it appears to be coming from the horn of the Victrola record player. The first print posters, such as this example, were printed on a thin, fragile newsprint stock and most were easily damaged.

Condition:

Near Mint Minus. A faint corner crease on the lower right; a touch of minor handling.

Medium:

A Buyers Premium of 15% will be added to the hammer price of all lots.
