SCARCE EARLY TYPEWRITER

Item Description:

SCARCE EARLY TYPEWRITER - The "Blickensderfer 5", the first widely successful production model portable typewriter, in the original oak case with paper labels, introduced at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. Good condition, some wear to paint, missing the 'P' key, wire paper rack, and one rubber foot.
