Scarce 1976 Hells Angels Pirates Ball Poster

Item Description:

The Hells Angels. The Jerry Garcia Band. Nitrous oxide provided by High Times Magazine. A boat trip on the S.S. Dutchess. What could possibly go wrong? Joining the fray were Bo Diddley and Elephants Memory. The trip occurred on September 15, 1976, departing from Battery Park, sailing up to the George Washington Bridge and back—apparently several times. There were reportedly about 200 Angels on board and the trip was a resounding success. These posters are pretty tough to find these days and most are in pretty bad shape. Condition: Moderate handling throughout. Lightly aged and barely faded; a nick out of the left edge; a 1½" tear in the lower edge that has been closed with clear tape. Grade: Very Good Size: 19¼" x 19¼"  Estimate: $1,750–$3,500
