Item Description:

17th c. Blanc de Chine Seated Guanyin, with the impressed double gourd seal of famed early 17th century Chinese potter He Chaozong. She is depicted with hands in repose, downcast eyes, seated on an integral lotus throne, with impressed maker's mark on back, set on a custom carved rosewood lotus platform. 12 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 4 3/4" figure only, 14 3/4" tall overall with plinth. Small flake to mantle. A fine example.
