Item Description:

17th c. Dehua Porcelain Kwan Yin, with the impressed seal of famed early 17th century Chinese potter He Chaozong. She is depicted with hands in repose, ruyi sceptre in crook of right arm, downcast eyes, on an integral platform, with impressed maker's mark on back (partly concealed by applique pearls), 9 1/4 " tall. A very delicate rendering.
