MECHANICAL BANK - Painted Cast Iron Tammany Hall Mechanical Bank by J & E Stevens, 19th c., depicting a seated Boss Tweed, place a coin in his hand and he deposits it in a slot above his left arm, 'Tammany Bank' embossed on both sides, 'Patd Dec. 23, 1873' on back, original surface, 5 3/4" high, 2 7/8" x 4 3/8"; minor paint loss.
