MECHANICAL BANK - Painted Cast Iron "Teddy and the Bear" Mechanical Bank by J & E Stevens, Cromwell, CT, circa 1907, a coin placed on the barrel of the cocked rifle is shot into the stump by depressing a lever on the base and a bear pops up from the top of the tree, cast 'Teddy and The Bear' on top of base and 'Pat Apld For' to base underside, original painted surface, 7 1/2" high, 9 3/4" x 3", paint losses.
