Margaret Bourke-White (American 1904-1971)- ''Sixty-First Floor, Chrysler Building'' (An announcement for her new studio in New York)- silver gelatin photograph, 1930, signed in pencil on the mount, also inlcudes a personal note in ink, ''It is going to be lovely Arthur, I am going to have a deep rose carpet which should make a good background for the glass and wood and aluminum furniture. Walls the faintest shade of gray-green, with two shades green fabric in one or two of the chairs. I wish you could have been around to help me with this. The feature will be my gold fish tank and underneath the gold fish tank will be a miniature __ folded away out of sight.
