Signed and dated "Lino Tagliapietra 1987" underfoot

About The Artist:

The artist came to Seattle, Washington, to teach at the Pilchuck Glass School in 1987. The current owner worked on a documentary about the School titled "The Fragile Art", filmed in 1987. According to the current owner, footage of this piece being created can be viewed at the opening of this film, beginning at 25 seconds and ending at 35 seconds into the opening of this documentary.
