Signed "Sternberg" and dated "July 1929" in the plate, titled "Subway Excavation" in pencil lower left margin, illegibly dedicated "To John Acheson (or Anderson) from Harry Sternberg" in pencil lower right margin, inscribed with the letters "x" and "c" in pencil lower right corner, matted

Condition:

Time-stained, a few pin holes/small puncture marks to upper and lower margins, small age spot to lower right, not faded, soiled, or repaired, with two areas of tape residue at top edge where work was attached to the mat.
