FRENCH PROVINCIAL TALL CLOCK - 19th c. Morbier Tall Clock in French Louis XV style Horloge de Parquet, made of walnut with nice hand carved molding, the enameled dial marked "Mouton a Bar sur Aube" (circa 1840) with a pressed brass surround featuring cupids flanking a sun above a basket of bounty, eight day weight driven time and strike movement, housed in a simple case with an arched molded top on square bonnet, straight molded cabinet with small round window, showing a plain brass pendulum, both doors with brass fist and scroll knobs, molded lower case is on plain molded foot. Includes original weights, folding pendulum and crank. 96" x 20" x 12" (at crown). Good condition.
