FRENCH PROVINCIAL TALL CLOCK - 19th c. Morbier Tall Clock in faux grain painted case with ochre pinstriping, a floral spray painted at bottom, the enameled dial marked "Machuret a Trezelle, 1867, with a pressed brass surround featuring a courting couple and grapevines, eight day weight driven time and strike movement, housed in a classically formed case with flat molded top on square bonnet, central throat with belly having a small round window, showing a plain brass pendulum, molded and canted lower case is raised on shaped feet. Includes original weights, folding pendulum and later key. 92" x 19" x 9". Good condition.
