FRENCH PROVINCIAL TALL CLOCK - 19th century French Country Horloge Comtoise / Morbier tall case clock featuring enameled dial marked "Lapierre-Gerard a Sille-le-Guillaume', circa 1870, in a faux grained case with gold stencilwork, with flat molded cornice, scalloped edge to top case, oval window fitting the brass repoussed dial surround, snipe hinges, shaped middle case with conforming window to display the large plain brass pendulum with lyre suspension having alternating brass and iron rods, the simple lower case resting on a cutout bracket foot. Includes original iron weights & winding crank. 88" x 17" x 17 1/2". Good condition, brass works restored.
