Product Description:

By unknown French clockmaker, with painted and patinated spelter statue of a seated maiden holding a wounded swallow in her hands above "Gris" veined marble clock case with flat pediment, sloped and stepped sides on gilt spelter foliate feet

Statue cast by sculptor Alfred Jean Foretay (Swiss, 1861-1944), signed at the base.

French clockmaker unidentified; white enameled dial with Arabic hours, Roman hands, floral wreath and two winding apertures.

Depth 8.25 in.
