Product Description:

The glass by Daum Nancy (1890-1920) and the metal cage work surrounding the vase Louis Majorele (1859-1926)

Dimensions:

Overall Height 17.5 in.
Base Diameter 7 in.

Condition:

Appears to be in fair condition. A small chip at the top of the vase. Two small screw holes on the bottom of the metal cage. (seen in images).The vase was turned into a working lamp by someone in the San Francisco area 40 years ago, but there was no drilling into the glass, which preserved the integrity of the vase. Daum Nancy glass was called cameo glass because it was built up with different colored layers and cut back with acid to reveal beautiful floral or scenic designs.
