A patinated bronze portrait bust of American entertainer Will Rogers, signed and dated in the cast near the base "E. Waggoner 1942".

The sculpture is accompanied by an autographed and dedicated program from the Unveiling and Presentation of the Equestrian Statue and Portrait of Will Rogers, 1947, created by Electra Waggoner Biggs. This program is autographed and dedicated by Waggoner Biggs, and autographed by Margaret Truman and General Dwight D. Eisenhower, who would later become president of the United States.

About The Artist:

Electra Waggoner Biggs was an heiress to a large Texas estate. She studied at Bryn Mawr University and Columbia University, then finished her education at the foundries in Paris. She was known for making sculptures of celebrities, most of whom were in her social circle.
