About The Artist:

Judd explored the parallelogram in a series of eighteen aquatints (1974-79) and twenty-seven etchings (1980-84) all printed in black. In the series that includes the subject work, the lines stand broad and clear. As evident in Judd's minimalist sculptures, where the color of the material, such as the color of the brass or steel, iron or plywood, is the subject, no color is used in these etchings - only ink on white paper.

The artist's objects and prints continually interact to give new visual impulses. In both mediums the memory is maintained of what happens on the paper or what is realized in space.
