CHINESE PORCELAIN JAR

Item Description:

CHINESE PORCELAIN JAR - Large Qing Ovoid Sang de Boeuf Jar, in high shouldered ovoid form with original friction fit pewter lid having tapered finial, on a fine rosewood openwork carved five-leg stand. Stamped 'China' for export purposes. Late 19th to early 20th c. Roughly 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" pottery, 13" tall overall. Chips to foot (concealed by stand), small chips to inside of rim (hidden by pewter lid).
