Item Description:

A finely carved jade figure of a goose with it's head turned, and holding a sheaf of wheat in its beak. The jade of grayish celadon and black, a combination favored during the Ming Dynasty. Presented on a fitted carved hardwood stand, with a collector's label to the underside of both the figure and the stand.
