Item Description:

Bi-fold, each panel finely carved and polychrome-lacquered with a pair of cranes resting under lotus flowers and leaves, amidst a background of openwork in the shape of Chinese cash coins, with gilding to the frame of the each panel


Appears to be fair and consistent with age, conservation work performed on it by the staff of the Asia Pacific Museum in Pasadena, CA in the early 1980s, cracks, chipping to various places, and missing some carvings.Please contact for specific condition questions.
