by poet Tao, Yuan Ming (365 – 427 A.D.)

I realized that the legendary way of being immortal invented by An Qi is true, and I can now spend the rest of my life in peace.
by scholar Xie, Ling Yun (385-433 A.D.)

I wrote Tao and Xie’s proses with respect in Seal Script. – Jiangang Su

As a junior scholar, I wrote this piece with my clumsy ink brush in Qing Dynasty calligraphers’ Iron-Line Seal Script at my Vancouver studio in the winter month of year 2020.* – Jiangang Su

* Artists often humbly call themselves a “junior scholar” in the footer of their paintings and calligraphy work.

《聞多素心人樂與數晨夕 ,始知安期術得盡養生年》
集陶彭澤謝康樂詩句篆奉

戊戌冬月擬清人鐵線於雲城寒齋虞山後學蘇健剛拙筆。
