AMERICAN TALL CASE CLOCK - Federal Chippendale Period Mahogany Tall Clock, having three brass eagle and globe finials on a broken arch pediment with an overlaid fretwork frieze, set on slender full round columns flanking a tombstone door over a painted iron dial featuring an urn at top and floral brackets, Roman numerals with seconds bit, no maker's mark, brass eight day time and strike movement, the slender throat has a string inlaid rectangular door, set on a simple molded base with ogee legs, having the original pendulum, weights and crank. 83" tall, 19" x 10", patches on dial. Repair to center finial.
