Product Description:

Depicting the Standardbred horse, composed of flattened molded sheet copper supported on a copper rod, retaining original weathered verdigris surface

Dimensions:

Width 32.5 in.

Height 16 in.

Depth 3.5 in.

Condition:

With wear appropriate to age and use, bullet holes, soldered seams, a minor 1/8 in. long seam separation on the horse's head, a 3/16 in. long seam separation on the left side of the mouth, 1/4 in. long separation at the horse's right nostril, and a minor 1/8 in. long separation on the horse's back. Provenance:

Inherited from the current owner's family. It was installed on their family's barn in Hudson, New Hampshire, in the last quarter of the 19th century. The barn was built in 1848. Passed by descent to the current owner.
