Karnataka, India, 1880-1900
shaped as a flowering tree with multiple branches, the lower tier with five curving branches radiating outwards from a central shaped disc, each of the five branches with cast leaves and a detachable diya attached to its end, the second tier of the same design but smaller in circumference, both layers attached to a central fluted stem leading to a bell-shaped base and surmounted by a single seven-wick diya with a central peacock finial, weight 10,353 gms.
