1930'S NEW JERSEY NATIONAL GUARD OFFICER'S GEAR - Property of Capt. (then Lt.) John V.V. Schoonmaker of the 113th Infantry, New Jersey National Guard, Champion Marksman at the Sea Girt competiton in 1931 & 32, Jersey Rifle Association Class A, Independent Gold Medal. Includes his dress uniform jacket, slacks and cape, along with his cap and epaulets, in very good condition; PLUS his E. Vion of Paris four draw rifle range telescope, power 33 times, missing leather and cap, dented. Approx. 14" closed, 36" open; PLUS US Army Officer's Dress Sword, damaged; PLUS his Riding Crop or Swagger Stick, good condition. PLUS Autograph letter to John VV Schoonmaker from H. Norman Schwarzkopf, July 2, 1942.
