18TH C. ECCLESIASTICAL PORTRAIT - Bust Portrait of a German Minister with heraldic shield in upper left corner, inscribed "Etatis suo 67, Anno 1715". Unframed. 27 3/4" x 22 1/4". Relined, with several tears and punctures. Inscribed verso with what can be assumed was written on the back of the original canvas: "Amodum Amplissimus Reverendus Praemobilis Ac perillustris Dominus de Joannes Carolus Baro De Fraipont de Werinerbosch Cancus Capris ac Diaconus Cardinalis Regalis Eclesia B.M. Viorginis Aquuisgranensis".
