Versace (estb. 1978) is a fashion house launched in 1978 with a women’s wear collection in Milan by Gianni Versace. The house is centered on the idea of world fashion and glamour. In 1989 Versace launched his first couture collection in Paris and opened Atelier Versace. Following his death in 1997, Donatella Versace, his sister, was named creative director of the Versace Group. The fashion house produces women’s and men’s fashion and accessories, eyewear, fragrances, jewelry, and watches as well as a home collection.
