A pair of Coptic bone dolls, Roman-Byzantine Egypt, c. 4th - 8th Century AD, each carved with large circular eyes and angled lines on the body. H: 1 5/8 in (4.2 cm) & 2 in (5 cm). Light deposits. Ex Peter Cheremisinoff collection, NJ.
