UNCUT LETTIE LANE PAPER DOLLS 8 @ Collection of antique ephemera; uncut, early 20th century Lettie Lane Paper Dolls. Shelia Young designed the ‘Lettie Lane’ series which was printed in Ladies Home Journal between October 1908 and December 1912. The following images are from ‘Lettie Lane’s Around-the-World Party 1.) July 1910 - ‘In Which Her Sister Sends Her Pictures of a Japanese Girl and a Japanese Boy’. 2.) August 1910 - ‘In Which Her Sister Sends Her Pictures of a Chinese Girl and Chinese Boy’. 3.) September 1910 - - ‘In Which Her Sister Sends Her Pictures of a Russian Girl and Russian Boy’. 4.) November 1910 – ‘In Which Her Sister Sends Her Pictures of a German Girl and Some German Costumes’. 5.) December, 1910 - ‘In Which Her Sister Sends Her Pictures of an Austrian Girl and Boy’. 6.) February, 1911 – ‘In Which Her Sister Sends Her Pictures of a Spanish Girl and Boy’. 7.) March 1911 - ‘In Which Her Sister Sends Her Pictures of a Boy and Girl of the Netherlands’. The reverse of this page depicts images of Helene Nyce’s ‘Flossie Fisher’s Funnies’, Flossie Helps Her Bunny Color Easter Eggs. 8.) March 1911 - ‘In Which Her Sister Sends Her Pictures of a Scotch Boy and Girl’. The reverse of this page depicts images of Helene Nyce’s ‘Flossie Fisher’s Funnies’, How Flossie and Her Dog and Cat Spent Mayday. 9.) With an additional page of ‘Marilyn Maxwell in Beauty of a Budget’ using Quadriga Cloth and Simplicity patterns. PROVENANCE: Carefully assembled over the course of many years by two leading collectors of paper goods and various ephemera.

Altogether excellent antique condition, December 1910 - Repaired tears lower left, largest 1.5”. March 1911 – Small repair to lower margin, 1.75”l.
