Tim Solliday (b. 1952), born in Ottumwa, Iowa, is a California landscape and figure painter.
In the late 1980s, he studied with early California impressionist, Theodore N. Lukits and later focused on painting en plein air. His compositions are characterized by a solid sense of design, pattern, and bright colors. He is a Signature Member of the California Art Club and a member of the Laguna Art Association. His paintings have been included in numerous group exhibitions, including at the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University in Malibu, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and the Carnegie Art Museum. He has also been featured in numerous magazines, including American Artist and Southwest Art.
