Romero Britto (b. 1963) is a Brazilian painter, sculptor, Neo-Pop artist, and serigrapher whose graphic style blends Pop Art with Cubism.His work is characterized by patches of geometric patterns and textures depicted in a fractured perspective.Born in Recife, Brazil, he is a self-taught artist and has found commercial success through his work with brand campaigns. He has also published works through Simon & Schuster and Rizzoli. Some of his public installation locations include Hyde Park in London, the Cirque du Soleil at Super Bowl XLI, the John F. Kennedy Airport in New York, and the O2 Dome in Berlin. He currently lives and works in Miami, Florida where he owns the Britto Central gallery.
