Robert Polidori (b. 1951) is a Canadian photographer known for his work documenting architectural spaces and their surrounding environments. Born in Montreal, Canada, he moved to New York in the late 1960s and attended the State University of New York at Buffalo. While living in Paris in the early 1980s, he began documenting the restoration of Versailles. Since then, he has photographed the interiors of buildings in the aftermath of disasters or plagued by poverty. He has been involved in the publication of several books of photography and participated in numerous exhibitions. He has also been the recipient of several awards including the World Press Award in 1998 and the Alfred Eisenstaedt Award for Magazine Photography in 1999 and 2000.
