Henrietta Berk

Henrietta Berk (1919-1990), born in Wichita, Kansas, was an American painter known for her boldly colored still life paintings of flowers, interiors, and modernist landscapes. She attended San Francisco State College and the California College of Arts and Crafts, where she studied with Richard Diebenkorn and Harry Krell. She has exhibited her work at numerous art venues, including the Oakland Art Museum, the San Francisco Museum of Art, and the de Young Museum.  Her work is also in the collection of the Telfair Museum of Art
