Eduardo Guelfenbein (b. 1953) is a Chilean abstract artist known for his colorful “liquid abstraction” paintings characterized by elaborate shapes, fluid lines and swirls depicted through thick, textured acrylic. Born, in Santiago, Chile, he studied in England and Diploma of Accademia delle Belle Arti, Brera in Milan, Italy. The artist has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Milan, Paris, and Santiago, among other cities. In 1997, he had a personal show titled Revelation at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Santiago, Chile. The artist currently lives and works in Paris.
