Ed Copley (b. 1944) is an American Realist painter known for his landscapes, still lifes, figures, western genre, and religious paintings. His work is characterized by Classical attention to composition, focus on light, and Old World pigment application. His representational style also draws together many techniques dating back to the Renaissance. He attended the Columbus College of Art and Design and the Famous Artists School. He is a member of the American Society of Classical Realism, American Institute for Conservation of Historic & Artistic Works, and co-founder of Western Artists of America. The artist works from his studio in Scottsdale, Arizona.
