Daniel Van Der Putten was born in a small farming village in Holland. He was greatly influenced by the Great Dutch Masters, Rembrandt in particular. Van Der Putten moved to the United Kingdom with his wife, where he began to develop his own distinct style of highlighting color, texture, and light. His ability to bring out natural light and shadow in his paintings is nearly unparalleled. Van Der Putten’s work has been showcased internationally, across North America, Europe, and Asia.
