51 Piece Vintage Mid Century Good Quality Silverplate in the "Magic Rose" Pattern by Interational Silver / Rogers Bros. In excellent condition. 8 Knives 9 1/4", 8 Forks 7 1/4", 8 Place Oval Soup Spoons 6 3/4", 8 Salad Forks 6 5/8", 15 Teaspoons 6", 1 Pierced Tablespoon 8 1/2", 1 Solid Tablespoon 8 1/2", 1 Master Butter 7 1/4" and 1 Sugar Spoon 6". Weight on all 6 pds. PROVENANCE: Edwin Moore Brogdon, PhD, collection. Dr. Brogdon was the owner of Brogdon Manor, a stately plantation home, located in the Brogdon Community, near Sumter, SC. The home was built in 1898 by his grandfather William Turner Brogdon. The Brogdon community was comprised of a local country store, cotton gin, sawmill and dairy. William Turner Brogdon was one of the largest planters in Sumter and Clarendon counties at the end of the 19th century.
