Carl Knoll (estb. 1842) was a porcelain manufacturer founded by businessman Carl Joseph Knoll who was from Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. The porcelain factory produced spa cups, porcelain figures, and dinnerware. In 1842, the founder bought lands and a shop for the production of clay pipes for Karlovy Vary, where he built a kaolin washing plant for the porcelain factories in the town. Following the success of his business, he built a porcelain factory four years later with two kilns, in which he produced mugs and cups. After twenty years, the company flourished and expanded its porcelain products. The factory had its own showroom where its products could be purchased.
