Aaron Young (b. 1972) is a contemporary American interdisciplinary artist who creates objects that are the result of spectacle and performance, such as pieces made by driving motorcycles on plywood panels. Born in San Francisco, he attended the San Francisco Art Institute and graduated from Yale University in 2004. He later moved to New York, and his work has been included in shows at P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center in Queens, the 2006 Whitney Biennial in New York, and the Herzilya Museum of Contemporary Art in Israel, among others. His work is also in the public collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, among others.
